I primarily works in oil and acrylic but have recently I have been
incorporating paper into my paintings as well. Applying paper to a painting
gives the painting more depth and interest. I may tear the paper, giving the
piece a organic feel or cut the paper creating a block print effect.
In the future, I look forward to challenging myself and my creativity by
introducing bold marks, graffiti and scribbles. They create a dramatic layer
of space that gives the painting even more depth and interest. This will
allow me to step out of my traditional comfort level and what I think a painting
should be and allow me to be myself.
I look forward to the future by loosening up my brush and my flow of
creativity and growing my portfolio even more, taking my painting to a whole
new level.
